White shirt or modern man’s shirt

The white shirt for men, unfortunately too often associated with formal occasions, is instead the first one in which you have to invest. At the same time neutral and elegant, it is a no fault par excellence: it is the shirt that saves you the bet when you no longer know what to wear, the one that adapts to all situations: from the elegant cocktail to the walk on the beach, the one that goes with all the outfits, the one that never goes out of style…. In short, a staple of the men’s wardrobe.

5. Our latest tips: don’t do

• Avoid transparent white shirts, choose quality fabrics, sufficiently opaque, with a visible weft, as we recommend. There’s nothing worse than open intimacy.

• No colorful buttons that would overshadow the shirt! Discreet white buttons will fit much better to your outfit.

• Never a marcel under the shirt! It’s the height of inelegance.

Finally remember that the finer the fabric (but opaque! you understood it well), the more it will adapt to a dressed occasion. A thicker fabric will be more in line with a casual outing.
