Our opinion
This fabric is made in Japan in one of the most prestigious and discreet factories dating from the early twentieth century and specialized in Jacquard.
Jacquard is a particular weaving of threads of different colors to form a pattern (here the military pattern). The pattern being woven, it is much more resistant to wear and tear and wrinkles little.
Generally, this kind of fabric is suitable for both clothing and decoration.
Here, the fabric is thick enough to be worn as a shirt or overshirt.
To avoid shrinkage (jacquards can tend to shrink), this fabric is pre-washed, so you can take your usual size or trust our size guide.
On this model, the collar is a small French collar.
As with many of our products, you won't find the equivalent on the market for less than 2 times the price.
